Omnivision used a fake newsroom using an entirely greenscreened / postproduction set worked remarkably well & inspired our own attempt in The Better Half.
...which we later had to redeem in Rowanhood.
I forget the name of this show.
Over top of every such ridge, which appeared to be a crest that would lead to the summit, there turned out to be an entirely new, similarly distant prospect for the summit, much, much higher up.
Initially, it seemed almost trivial aside from the miles of climbing, because there were still visible trails and we were dressed for the jaunt.
The trails were completely snowed over. The only direction was up. You just had to orient by where the horizon seemed higher, which wasn't always as obvious as it sounds, given the snow drift situation.
