I'm calling this "Manga" style because I can't remember who I was looking at when finding aspirational manga references, and I know this doesn't resemble any of the usual suspects I'd be enticed by - Maki Murakami, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Alichino, David Mack, Frank Miller, Tatsuyuki Tanaka, Jinjo Ito...?
IRL, mostly I pass as sane and coherent, I think. But then I start making speech bubbles for the voices, and here we are.
What else COULD they be saying, though? You know?
I sort of wish I knew.
But maybe it's best that I've forgotten what any of this ever meant.
Yo. This is basically my mixed media digital dream journal and I have no idea why I started ranting at poor Sue Kreitzman. It doesn't make any more sense to future/current me than it probably does to you if that makes you or Sue feel better about the whole thing.
Was I actually dogging her for being a nepo baby? What misplaced ire! She ran a whole culinary empire! She seems like a quasi-self-made woman. Why was I flaming? God knows. But I kind of liked the doodling of it all, so here.
