“Looks like she bit off more than she could chew” *as ripping some body part off. Cop backing up terrified.

Ways to Rewrite this:

Carrie is sassy and doesn’t take nonsense but she’s scattered and needs to learn to compose herself.

Carrie is a hothead and needs to learn to control her temper.

Carrie is everyone’s whipping boy until she learns to stand up for herself.

Carrie is a vampire and needs to stop feeding on humans.

Carrie is a badass trying to fit into a preppy society. In the end, she decides, “Fuck it!”

Carrie is a dark-minded individualist trying to fit into a preppy, conformist society. In the end, she learns her lesson: conforms and embraces consumerism. “Happy ending.”

Carrie is secretly a lifesized anthropomorphic alien crow and needs to stop feasting on the entrails of her slain foes and act like a human instead, so she can pay her rent.

Carrie is clumsy but soooo adorable!!

Carrie is a haughty California snob who needs to learn to wear camou and ‘haunt’ wild bucks with bows and arrows and burn patchouli in order to integrate into Ashland’s gentle rural community.

Carrie is a dreamy free spirit who spreads joy with her charm to all but the hardest of hearts with whom she comes in contact. Everyone has a lot to learn from her benevolent ways, and she in turn must learn to face the hard facts of life. Aw...coming of age.

...and she’s a lifesized anthropomorphic crow who thrives on blood sacrifice. The night changes her.

Plotline Prospects:

She's a big city girl who took a job in a small town.

It’s the job she’s always wanted at a world-renowned company, but it’s in the middle of the friggin’ boonies.

“And the management is...well, quirky. ;-) “

Problem: The nearest cities are 3-5 hours away.

Option 1a: I drive to PDX or Seattle (which I planned to do in February) and get the necessary shots. Option 2a: Find free stock aerial city footage online and use that? Is this the proposal of a madman?

Option 1b & 2b: Shoot the remaining scenes in front of the largest buildings in Ashland, Medford, or Grant’s Pass in the most ‘urban’ seeming parts.

She’s a small town girl who took a job in the big city.

She’s a scattered flick of a girl who has to work hard to prove herself to her hard-hearted boss.

But it’s hard to prove yourself when you’re a total space case, trying to pay rent and survive in the big city.

Eventually she finds love, proves herself, and lives happily ever after.

Problem: See above.

She’s a small town girl who took a job in the big city.

She’s a scattered flick of a girl who has to work hard to prove herself to her hard-hearted boss.

But it’s hard to prove yourself when you’re a total space case, trying to pay rent and also a lifesize alien crow-beast trying to fit in with the humans and sate your insatiable appetite for manflesh.

Eventually she finds love, proves herself, disembowels her foes, eludes the G-men, and lives happily ever after.

Problem: The nearest city is 5 hours away.

The learning curve…
